Political Parties, the Formation of Public Opinion, and Interest Group Politics.

As a contributing editor to The Nation, Professor Ferguson works principally on politics and economics in the U.S. and foreign countries. He is the author or coauthor of a variety of articles and books including Right Turn:The Decline of the Democrats and the Future of American Politics; Golden Rule: The Investment Theory of Parties and the Logic of Money Driven Politics; Bob's Best Buddies and Bill's Big Backers.
